The CMS allows users to create documents in a variety of ways. Documents can either
be uploaded, created directly within the CMS editor, or copied from another source such as a
word processor and pasted into the CMS editor.
The easy to use revision control system allows the user to revert to previous versions of a
document in order to view or undo changes. The CMS editor provides HTML capable word processing
functionality such that the document can be maintained directly within SPS.

Since documents are stored within the CMS in HTML format, documents can be easily delivered
as content via the Web. In addition, the person
receiving the document does not need any specific software in order to view the document -- only a web browser.

The CMS assigns each document a unique identifier. This allows documents to be easily
linked to your company’s website, and provides for automatic posting
of the current version of a document when changes have been made. This is especially
convenient where the responsibility for maintenance of a document is segregated from the
responsibility for administration of the company website.
